Has anyone heard an issue discussed lately?

Each side’s effort to destroy the character of the other has robbed the American electorate of any serious presidential discussion on the issues. Thank goodness, and I can’t believe I’m saying this; at least the Fed is paying attention.

Debt, deficits, Obamacare, Dodd-Frank, education, student loans, trade deficits, open borders, and how much longer do you want to make the list, should be part of the public debate. I know lip service is being given to some of that by Trump and Clinton, but the media is not at all interested in delineating the difference of the two based on important issues.

While less is more when it comes to DC, we can’t leave policy making on auto-pilot; it is killing us. Issues matter, outcomes matter, our future matters. An executive branch and legislative branch that can work together and solve problems by focusing on solutions rather than blame is critically important at this uneasy time in our collective history.

Only 5 days left, let’s place our vote based on the issues; who has the plan most likely to solve problems and put America back on a path for greater strength and prosperity in the future?
